Verizon Wireless is committed to preventing domestic violence and raising awareness of the issue. As a recognized corporate leader, Verizon Wireless has developed Alabama's first comprehensive public awareness campaign, “No Excuse.”

The campaign targets young men 18-35 by featuring three of the state's top football coaches: Tommy Tuberville from Auburn University, Joey Jones from Birmingham-Southern College and Neil Callaway from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

  • Donate your no longer used cell phones to the Verizon Wireless HopeLine Program.
  • At Home: Be a role model for your children. Encourage a healthy and loving family environment.
  • At Work: Speak out and provide the necessary resources for your co-workers to learn how to get involved in preventing Domestic Violence.
  • Be a Friend: If you know or even suspect that your friend is in an abusive relationship. Do something about it. Don't ignore it.
